  I’ll preface this by saying I was never a huge fan of Indian food until this past year when I went with my family to an Indian buffet for my cousin’s graduation dinner and discovered there were multiple non-spicy options available. Fast forward about 6 months and I’m out to dinner with my family again, though this time, at Tiffin. I had heard of them but had never eaten at any of their locations before, so I checked the menu on their website to make sure there was something I was comfortable ordering. Surely enough, there were plenty of options. We arrived, were seated, and ordered a few varieties of naan as an appetizer. That being said, however, it took a bit longer than we would’ve liked for it to arrive at our table, but when it did, it was worth the wait. I especially enjoyed the tamarind dipping sauce. For my main course, I ordered the malai tikka (chicken marinated in a very light sour cream/cream cheese mixture) and got a few bites of my dad’s chicken tikka masala—since we asked for everything to be mild, they honored that and I was so grateful. As far as the service, there were only 2 people working front of house so it wasn’t exactly prompt; though they do get more take-out business than eat-in so it would’ve been nice if the wait had been slightly shorter. Other than that, I’d return, but likely just for take-out.
