An extremely honest shop, they never advise a repair that isn't needed to make an extra buck. I've always lived many miles from the shop, but the extra distance is always worth it for excellent affordable service.
(March 17, 2018, 7:59 pm)Brought my Mustang here with potential gear issues and a possible diff rebuild on a recommendation from another shop. The mechanic who I worked with was nice, seemed honest and didn't try to be come off with the holier-than-thou attitude that some guys have. I mentioned all my problems / symptoms and he pulled the cover and went over everything. He was competent about rears and mentioned the clutch pack was a tad worn my spider gears had some play, but the ring and pinion lash was in spec, so he knew what he was talking about. Only gave 4 out of 5 stars because they came in a day late on looking at it and it's my daily car and couldn't confirm where the noise was coming from, though apparently they couldn't replicate it. Threw a new driveshaft in to replace bad U-joints, noise still persists and has gotten worse. I will come back to have them give their opinion on the noise now that it's obvious. If they can diagnose and offer the right fix (whether I do it or them), I will be a customer for a long time. It's hard finding a reputable shop.
