(October 17, 2018, 11:27 am)The park is beautiful and would be great for hikers, joggers and just an enjoyable walk. I went for the dog park on a sunny but cool day. The dog park was empty. So I rate it a 5 star except for the dog park.

(August 26, 2018, 4:55 pm)This parking lot has direct access to Penny Pack Park. The trail is 5.4 miles of crushed stone. If you head south (standing in the parking lot and looking at the trail go to your left) the Trail attaches to Lorimer Park. An outhouse is located at the southern end of the lot. Lorimer Park has flush bathrooms water, picnic tables and trails.
The parking lot has dog poop bags and trash cans. You can walk your dog on the trail but dogs are not in the picnic area of Lorimer park.
This park, like many others has at least one dog owner who managed to pick up after their dog but couldn't walk another 50 feet to throw it in the trash. -

(June 26, 2018, 2:44 pm)Lorimer park is beautiful. Shady lane trail is steep, but 'shady' and one can retreat from direct sun and continue hiking or biking on main trail-Pennypack. Enjoy.
