  All I can say about this place is YES!!!!!! Been coming here since I was able to walk so going on 32 years. Always remember coming here with my parents and grandparents. I've been hooked on their chicken my whole life. Moved many states away 8 years ago but every time I come back home Specks is always one of if not the first places we stop. Food has tasted the same over the years and is never a a disappointment! Looking forward to coming home soon and getting the best chicken on the planet!

  Very very good broasted chicken. This place has great sides and fries are crispy. I enjoy the coleslaw. Although it may not be a super healthy option, you have to get over there and try out a meal sometime.

  My Parents brought me here, as a child, and I've been stopping by, periodically for years, and the food is always the same...SUPERB!!
  I think it's the best broasted chicken, in the world. The decor could definitely use a do-over, because it has kept the same look forever. They might argue, its a way to keep costs down, but I beg to differ. The costs have gone up quite a bit, but it is still worth every penny.

  Love them! Chicken is the best I've ever had. It's not fried but pressure cooked. It's like fried but not all greasy, but amazingly juicy too. I also enjoy their corn nuggets too.
  It's an older 50's style restaurant with good simple enjoyable food.
