(July 6, 2022, 4:47 pm)We were very happy with the additional care our mom was given while she had hospice care in our home. I would recommend them. It was a difficult time made more bearable by caring, comforting help. John and his staff tried really hard to get us the much needed hours of help.

Letting someone into your home and life was a big but needed step and Senior Helpers provided a wonderful caregiver.
I have the peace of mind mom’s with a very capable, personable, and professional caregiver that doesn’t just “do the job” but enjoys and engages mom and that makes all the difference.
Communication with the office is consistently good.
The few times we have had a change in plans, they get back in a timely fashion and work with us to accommodate our needs and are understanding
and kind.
We are happy we chose Senior Helpers. -

(June 30, 2021, 8:54 pm)When it became time that my 97 year old father needed some help showering and getting dressed in the morning, I contacted Senior Helpers to see what they could do. They were able to meet my dad’s preferred schedule and provided the help he needed. In addition to the help washing up and dressing, they also made sure he had some breakfast and got his bed made. The added bonus was how much he enjoyed the conversation and personal interaction with the staff, even as they were kindly reminding him to use his walker. It was a really nice way for my dad to start his day. I would certainly use Senior Helpers again.

(March 9, 2021, 2:04 pm)About one month ago, I needed to find a new agency to provide companion services for my mother who lives in a nursing home. We had used a couple of other agencies over the years, but due to the pandemic, we had to make a change. I wanted to let people know how great of an experience I've had with Senior Helpers in Harleysville, PA. I called one day letting them know we were looking for someone to come in 6 days a week. Within 2 days, they had staff in mind to cover my mother's shifts! Staff were COVID tested and ready to go the following week. I was also impressed that I was recently given the opportunity to meet the owner and a prospective companion in person on a Saturday. They really work hard to make sure our needs our met!

We started services a few years ago, providing my Mom with help in having some household chores, cleaning, and personal care done. Through the years, as my Mom’s health declined,... Senior Helpers rose to the challenge of meeting up to 24 hours a day of care in the last years of my Mom’s life. This challenge was met with an unwavering dedication to my Mom, and they determinedly ensured all shifts were staffed. The compassion by the staff was so much so, that these caregivers became part of our family in many ways. Now that my Mom has passed, I’ve realized that they have truly left a void in my life. But when it was needed, I knew Senior Helpers was always there. I slept many a Pm at peace knowing they surrounded my Mom with the care she needed, and even more importantly, with heartfelt compassion. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Senior Helpers. I am eternally grateful they became part of our lives.
