I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get my blood work done in time, as I had to leave for work in 40 minutes. They called me back in what seemed like 5 minutes! This was the closest to painless I've ever had for blood work. I LOVE this Labcorp.

Go here, DO NOT go to the King of Prussia Labcorp location! The Plymouth Meeting staff are so much better.

I needed to take a 3 hour long glucose test as part of my pre-natal healthcare routine. I confirmed the King of Prussia location's hours: closing at 2:30pm. So I booked an 11:30am appointment. It was the only one I could make work with my job, and the test would end in time for them to close. I showed up early and was fully checked in, ready to get started before 11:30. (At this point, they had my insurance info twice over. I had to enter it once to book the appointment, and then scan my insurance card along with my photo ID at the testing center kiosk. So there was no need for any involved check-in procedures.)

I was not called back to commence my appointment until 11:45, at which point the staff member told me "Oh, we can't do this now. This won't end until 2:45 and we close at 2:30." Not my problem. If I were a walk-in, I would have understood, but I was a scheduled client. If this testing center is understaffed, they should take fewer walk-ins and prioritize those who took the time and consideration to book ahead. For a service to tell somebody to reschedule a 3 hour procedure, because that service provider refuses to accommodate a mere 15 minutes of inconvenience for itself when it was the one who screwed up and caused delays in the first place, is completely unacceptable. What is the point of offering timed appointments only to not honor them?

Since I didn't want to take this person's idiotic advice to come back the next day at 6:30am, she recommended I rush to the Plymouth Meeting location, which closes later. Since I had already rearranged my day for this appointment, I rushed to the PM branch as fast as I could. Due to traffic, though, when I arrived I was in the exact same boat: To begin my test at that time meant that I wouldn't be finished until 15 minutes past closing time. HOWEVER. the women at this location were so kind, welcoming, and professional, and administered my test anyway. I'm immensely grateful, since to them I was only a walk-in, and they could have refused. Basically, Plymouth Meeting staff went above and beyond and stayed late for a walk-in because their lazy counterparts in King of Prussia couldn't be bothered to do their job with a scheduled client. The KOP staff probably send plenty of clients to PM under the pretext that KOP is "closing soon."

Thank you again to the PM staff who graciously helped me out when I was in a pinch!

I had a great experience at this location. I made an appointment online ahead of time and checked in using their kiosk when I arrived. I only waited about 5-10 minutes to be taken back for paperwork, and was immediately taken back for bloodwork after that. They had some signs saying they were short staffed and busy, and there only appeared to be two people working at the time, and a few other patients arrived during my time there. The ladies who were working there were very pleasant to everyone and worked very efficiently but also didn’t make me or anyone feel rushed. I tend to pass out when getting blood drawn, and my phlebotomist was very kind and accommodating and helped me feel comfortable and let me lay down while have it taken. It was overall a very great experience.
