“Update: the director ended up reaching out to me. She was kind and sincerely apologetic. I’m glad to know they care about their members. I never had a bad experience until that day and haven’t had one since. I’m glad to know this problem has been resolved because I love the Y! Thank you for truly caring about your members. Terrible experience yesterday with one of the staff members. 3 members, 4 guests. All adults except for one nine year old. We were there for a good 30 minutes just swimming in the first lap lane with no problems. Until this one guy kept coming up to our group. It got to the point when I went to the manager because he would not leave us alone. He told us that we could only swim laps, which we were doing when they weren’t doing swim tests. Then he told us adults only, which we all were except for one. Then he came to us AGAIN saying elderly only. There were swim lessons on all but three lanes and I had asked if we could swim there with my younger sister. How he spoke to us was rude and extremely unprofessional. He did it to quite a few families. The manager was nice and we were able to get the guest passes refunded because it was a waste of a free guest pass. The other life guards were extremely friendly and had not been bothered by us just swimming. We weren’t loud, causing a scene, or anything like that. We were just trying to have a good time.”

“You won't find a better Optometrist than Dr. Brignola. I found the office on Google after I suffered a severe corneal abrasion and was in a lot of pain and got no help from Urgent Care. An hour later I was in his office and had immediate pain relief. He gave me detailed instructions on how to care for my eye over the long weekend before the office opened on Monday. He went above and beyond by giving me his cell phone number and was willing to meet me over the weekend if the bandage contact came out and I was in a lot of pain. The subsequent follow up treatments and visits put me at ease. He is very knowledgeable and caring I trusted the moment that I met him that he would do whatever he needed to do to make sure my eye completely healed without any long term effects.”

“Heather and Michele have helped us tremendously. My wife and I care for her 100 year old dad who lives with us. Happily he doesn't require daily medical care, but he does need someone to make his meals, bring in his newspaper each day, and keep his room picked up. We do those things for him but when we go out of town or need a big chunk of the day away from home Heather and Michele take over for us. My father-in-law enjoys their company and we have peace of mind knowing he is well looked after. There is no bureaucracy at SILC, just some smart and capable women who love what they do and the people they serve.”

“Very nice facility but for over $80 a month for the 2 of us I wish it was open longer on the weekends! The sauna closes early during the week making it inconvenient for us to use it when it is the main reason why we keep the membership. Overall it is kept clean, just lame hours.”
