Water Street Park

Hellertown has invested in creating a welcoming park that is used by many. Playground, dirt mounds for bikes, walking path, basketball, volleyball, and covered picnic tables (all within sight which is great for parents with children of varying ages). On Sundays this is the site for May-November Farmer's market. Market is a little pricey but good are not your common finds. Mostly all fresh and local.

Nice park for family outings. Saucon Creek flow next to the park. Fishing in season. Farmers Market on Sunday mornings (after church).

Newly renovated, this park has a scenic, flat walking / bicycling "rail to trail" that parallels the Saucon Creek. Spacious parking, bathrooms, basketball court, and a nice playground for little ones.

Clean, decent setup. Easy access to the Saucon Rail Trail. The farmers market, when in season, is pretty good too.

Not giving 5 stars since I didn't experience the whole park. My kids played on the playground which was very nice. I nursed my youngest in the picnic pavilion area where it was shaded. Nice place to have a picnic lunch and close to the playground so you can easily keep an eye on your little ones while they play. The last thing I'll comment on which I was quite impressed with was the women's restroom. Very clean and smelled nice.
