Received a ticket for parking in a permit lot without a permit (didn't know, my fault). Didn't know it until I went to my car (which had no ticket on it). I went to drive off, but a white tow truck was blocking me for some reason and refused to move. They had taken my ticket off of the car without hooking it (illegal). The car was mine, as was the ticket, and they blocked my path and withheld my ticket, telling me to pay $175 dollars or to let them tow it. I refused both, as one was illegal and the latter wasn't happening on my watch. They continued to block me in, even after I told them that I would call the police. I did so.
911 told me that this was totally illegal to block me in. After a while of enduring intimidation attempts to get me to pay or get out of the car from the tow truck people, officers from the 39th came and told them that they were holding me hostage. They freed me from extortion and being held hostage!
Thank you 39th district from a fellow civil servant. That $175 will go into my high school classroom for my students.
On march 3rd at 11:15 pm I was on 30th Allegheny in it was raining,snowing I was cold been out to church then went to visit my mom my feet was cold in my bus was 22minutes away or more 2 officers ask me was okay I said yes but God bless you both well the one said mam how far your going qhich I was only going to abbotsford Henry Ave the officer I know now was officer Gutner said let us take you I smiled but kind of iffie then officer that I know now as officer Hass said Miss let us take you I got in they called it in I said do y'all believe God sent y'all to me we all laughed they said what's your address we going take you to your door in they did I said what y'all name so I can put y'all on the prayer list they gave to me but of cousin forgot to save it when I put it in my phone but one of my Facebook friends found them for me Roxanne Montague I'm so grateful of those to officers .
