The Chickie's & Pete's story dates back to 1977 when Pete's parents, Peter and Henrietta, purchased a small neighborhood taproom on Robbins Avenue, in Mayfair. Young Pete started experimenting with seafood recipes and one result was his "crab fries" which became the first of several patented dishes.
