The staff of this library branch are some of the most helpful and accommodating of any library branch I've visited in my decades of living in Philadelphia. I am new to the South Philly and these were some of the first people I met. The branch may need some work, but the staff knows the children and adults that frequent the place and are always ready to assist. Whether it's with literary recommendations or computer sign-ins; these people are there to serve. I like them for that!
Small but pleasant library. Librarian was very helpful and friendly. Plenty of computers to sign up for. Tables and chairs throughout the library. Consists of three sections, adults, children's and adolescent/teens. Very good selection of comic books, which made my boys very happy. Activities and events posted throughout the library.
A branch of the Philadelphia Free Library. Older building. No handicaped ramps. Has printers, a copier/ scanner and 8 computer desktops for use. The library has free wi fi for you to use as well. On street parking is free. Septa stops for the route 46, 34 & G bus all are close to this location. Note there are some schools closeby. Making afternoons crowded with kids.
