(March 20, 2019, 10:14 pm)Wow. Loved this place. The plantains were hot and delicious. The chicken avocado corn sandwichy thing (don't remember the name) was SO GOOD. I didn't care for the pork one as much--still good, just liked the chicken one way better. The hot chocolate was AMAZING. It's VERY rich and thick.

(January 23, 2019, 2:12 am)I had my first Venezuelan arepa here and I am glad I did. The food is excellent and the staff are very willing to help in deciding what is good for your tastes. There are also excellent chocolate desserts. The only reason I gave it four out of five stars is because they do not accept card payments. Cash only. There is an ATM on premises but the ATM charge adds to the cost.

Sazon claims to offer the most extensive Venezuelan menu in the US. Now I'm not in a position to verify or dispute that, but I certainly can attest that not only is the food at Sazon exceptional, but they are quite knowledgable in all things gluten-free and celiac-safe preparation (it certainly helps that most of the menu is gluten-free to begin with).
