“Tom and Ralph went over and above board to get very needed medicine to my father. Even though the other pharmacy was not cooperating by sending them the script, Tom and Ralph were patient and sympathetic to our dilemma. Cudos to this pharmacy.”

“I had a pipe freeze and Joe Giannone was on the job! He made sure someone came out as soon as possible. And I was able to quickly schedule a follow up appointment for Josh C. to replace the pipe. Josh is professional and very skilled. Giannone plumbing made what could have been a very stressful situation much better! Highly recommend.”

“So happy they are open every week now! The sourdough is fantastic and always keeps long enough to enjoy every bit of it. Their toasts, strata, cookies, and jams are all a clever pivot away from really familiar flavors, and consistently delicious. Stuck around for baguettes this weekend, wow.”

“Fantastic experience! $5 admission, $2 if you want the audio tour. I would strongly recommend adding the audio. It gives you a much broader understanding of the house and how amazing of a woman Betsy Ross was. Glad I had a chance to go there and would go again if I was showing someone around the historical sites in Philadelphia”

“Love this store! We visit this store every time we are in Philly. They have a huge selection of candy. Everything imaginable, even candy you can't find on the shelf anywhere else. Lots of classic candy that my Grandma and Aunt always appreciate seeing when I bring some home. They have lots of old band posters and witty metal signs and decorations for only the coolest rooms in everyone's houses. Also the unimaginable amount of soda flavors they have is amazing. You would never believe your eyes when you see some of the flavors. But they have plenty of classic flavors that taste awesome! 5 stars in my book for sure, certainly worth checking out.”

“I got a unicorn float. I named him Richard. It was good. Besides that, the float was very good. The straw wasn't great quality though because it was a paper straw. after a while, it would get mushy and it would be hard to suck anything out of it. But it was very delicious.”

“I had a chip on my shoulder about Taiyaki before trying it for several reasons: 1. I'm suspicious of insta-famous foods. 2. There are soooo many new ice cream spots in this neighborhood and I was overwhelmed trying to hit them all up. 3. There were enormous lines on the weekend of their grand opening because they were doing buy one get one free, and I refused to stand in that line! 4. That was followed by National Ice Cream Day, when they offered another deal, meaning more lines. So it took me several weeks to finally try this spot, but when I finally did, I was sold. Wandering down Bedford on a muggy Sunday afternoon, I was surprised to find that there was no line, so I popped in and tried the Straight Outta Japan, which features their red bean filled taiyaki with matcha and black sesame swirl soft serve, a chocolate wafer cookie, and rainbow mochi. I was so impressed with the flavor of the soft serve (though the black sesame did overpower the matcha), and how perfectly warm and crispy/soft the waffle stayed even after eating the giant pile of ice cream on top of it! The taiyaki was an instantly nostalgic flavor for this Korean kid. So, of course I went back the next night, when again there was no line. This time I had a plan to make a custom cone, and I was even happier. This might be a controversial stance, but I think I might like their strawberry soft serve flavor even better than their classic matcha or black sesame! I also went with the custard taiyaki instead of the red bean, which was a more subtle and less sweet choice, and only one topping. It was less filling, more fruity, and right up my alley. I think that's going to be my go-to from now on. There's a very high chance I might be back every night for the next few weeks at this rate, so I'll be sure to update with new and exciting combos that I concoct.”
