  Beautiful place for a walk or bicycle ride. It's easy walking too, the ground is pretty even, the path is wide.

  One of the most serene places that I have ever been. I enjoyed the quite and the greenery even though my ears ring from tinnitus. A must go to if you are ever given the opportunity.

  This tract of the Pinchot Forest is phenomenal! The southern loop of the Pinchot trail is very beautiful. The strech along choke creek is certainly a highlight, with many defunct beaver dams and one current beaver dam. Choke creek falls is also a fantastic sight.
  There are rhododendron tunnels and some nice patches of pine trees along the trail. Be wary of wet and muddy conditions, as the trail accumulates large puddles of water at times, although with proper footwear it shouldn't be an issue.

  My cousin and I went Winter Camping for the first time and decided to come here 2 days after a snow storm. The roads are not maintained to the camp grounds at Manny Gordon Rec Area. I also have a Nissan Altima so if you have a truck or SUV you'll be fine.
  
  We got a permit for Site #1 so it wasn't too bad to walk our stuff in.... we were semi packed to go backpacking anyway.
  
  It was awesome, was cold but not too bad if wearing layers. Super quiet - besides my cousin and I, there was 1 other guy there with his son. We'd definitely go again - already planning the next trip.
