Hawthorne Woods Assisted Living

Hawthorne Woods is a wonderful Assisted Living Community. They refer to the building as a "community" rather than a patient type relationship. All of their caregivers care deeply for the residents and this extends into the managerial staff as well. They have a fantastic Activities Coordinator and it shows through their community Facebook page, which is open to everyone. I encourage you to check it out if you're interested in placing a loved one into the community of Hawthorne Woods. Their weekly activity calendar is posted as well as pictures of community members and highlights from the day.

I have several friends that live at this facility. They are all happy and well cared for. I would recommend the folks who run this Community. They try hard and care deeply. They explained to me the challenges of finding caregivers right now and that's understandable. The basics get done and that's a lot better than a lot of other places.

Surprisingly, the managers know each other and the residents on a first name basis, not something routinely found in today's climate.
They respect their residents and treat them accordingly, keep that in mind when making a decision for your loved one(s).
