Great doctor! It was so disheartening to see these reviews when we were looking for a pain specialist. I'm glad we went anyway because these reviews couldn't be further from the truth. Dr. Epstein is a thorough pain specialist who listens and provides real solutions to pain issues. Just like one reviewer said, they just expect you to be courteous. And you can't be shopping for a doctor who is simply going to refill pain meds. Cause it just won't happen here. If you are looking for solutions to your pain issues and live in the area Dr. Epstein is the man. I would and do recommend him to everyone I know that needs pain management.
Dr Scott has been amazing. I was very worried about seeing him based off of the reviews but he is the closest pain management doctor in the area. On my first visit he went over my records with me, joked around and was all together very nice and respectful. He listened very well to everything I said (very rare bc I'm covered in tattoos and have pink hair so they think I'm a junkie ????) we did a full drug test, paperwork and he ordered multiple tests for the next week. On my next visit he went over all of them and made a plan for me to at least be in less pain. When my insurance refused the migraine meds I needed he fought for me to get them and won. He is a sweetheart and very down to earth. I'm in my late twenties so as to the only 88 thing idk what that's about. My bf now sees him as well and has had a great experience as well. I can't thank Dr Epstein enough.
My experience was absolutely positive... I read some of these reviews and they are the furthest from the truth. The doctor is busy so he simply asks people to be on time or you lose your appointment. Simple consideration. I lost my first appointment for lateness... I had to wait another month but got bumped up 2 weeks early, to my surprise due to a cancellation. The staff are polite and willing to answer questions. The waiting room is very clean and comfortable... I was skeptical and hesitant to keep my appointment due to these awful reviews. However I was more then pleasantly surprised with how much time this man took to examine me, go over my chart, ask questions and explain things in detail. Not to mention he took notes and paid excellent attention to me when I spoke . After 3 accidents, numerous money hungry doctors, empty treatment plans and substantially painful treatments, I finally found a physician with a sensible game plan to aid my quality of life. This doctor is thorough, caring, patient, informational and determined to get to the bottom of my condition and improve my quality of life.
