Although initially I was extremely disappointed with this product, I am now happy to revise my opinion.
The customer service department contacted me about my issues and apologized for the poor quality of the products I received. They replaced my ENTIRE order free of charge. They also changed the way they packaged the screens (no more tape!). The FLEXSCREEN company truly listened and addressed all my concerns. They are to be commended.

The the fit and finish of the replacement screens were what I expected them to be and I am pleased with the product.

I therefore change my rating of the products to four stars (not five because I had to deal with the issues in the first place).

First, the packaging. As shown by the pictures below, it was damaged. After opening the package and inspecting the inside, luckily it didn't seem to affect the contents.

Secondly, and more importantly, is what I call the fit and finish of the product I received. I was extremely disappointed with the edging of the product. Considering I paid approximately $70 per screen, I expected a much higher quality product. I've attached pictures to this email. The pictures are only of one screen, but it is indicative of the other eight screens. They all have the same problem. As I mentioned before, for $70 a screen, this should not be an issue. I think you need to reexamine your quality control procedures.

Thirdly, the use of regular masking tape, (the beige type) was a poor choice for binding screens together. The removal of said tape was difficult, time consuming, and left residue on the edge of the screen.

I want to thank you for your excellent customer service. Often when making purchases one has to jump through hoops when issues arise; Flexscreen resolved the matter with one phone call and a photo of the subject in question. I will endorse your company and product with my friends and family with the hopes of providing additional customers. Thanks again, Graham Lang

FlexScreen was exactly what I needed for one window which, because of its opening, couldn't accommodate a regular screen. Throughout the summer it was simple to take the screen in and out every day. Unfortunately, an over-enthusiastic child pulled the screen too hard and a small amount of screen came away from the frame. I wrote to FlexScreen and I received a response immediately: the screen was under warranty and they replaced it as soon as they confirmed all my details. Thank you, in particular, to Tom and Kaitlyn who guided me through the process. I highly recommend FlexScreen for its excellent product and its incredible customer service.

Replacing my old, bent screens and frames with FlexScreens was a smart move. Our window screens had bent frames, loose screen material and I was sick of paying the hardware store to replace the screen material. Our window screens release at the top of the window, so taking the screens out meant either deforming the frame of the screen or removing the blinds from the top of the window before the screen could be removed. It was a pain! I happened upon Flex Screen and decided to order a sample. It is truly amazing how much you can squeeze and twist the entire frame/screen and that it snaps back into place. The screen material is far more durable than traditional screening and the frame is much lighter and thinner than my old screens. They disappear in the window when in place and take up less room to store when removed. I replaced about 30 window screens and have had them for over 4 years. If/when we move, I will order them for any house we live in going forward. The team at Flex Screen was helpful and professional. I highly recommend this product and this company.
