I can honestly say we have eaten there for years. The kids love the large containers of wedding soup I bring home for them. This past weekend I got my favorite dish eggplant Napoleon. Honestly nobody makes it better. I simply have never had anything to complain about. However living in the AK Valley that will always be somebody complaining about what things cost it doesn’t matter if you gave it away they would still complain so I would disregard the complaint about what the food cost. Go experience it for yourself the wait staff has always been great realize nowadays with Covid everything’s a little busy but I have never been disappointed with the quality of food thank you

This restaurant is usually a solid 4.7 stars for me. However, the service this last time was unsatisfactory (3.8). Our food was made too early and sat, so it naturally got cold. We also asked for extra sauerkraut for a reuben and they were very generous with their meat, but gave us hardly any sauerkraut (that includes the extra container). Will continue eating here because the service this time was a hiccup, but I hope they work on their takeout timing and proportioning (in regard to the salads and sandwiches).
