Not a lot of experience in discharge planning for patients going home on ventilators but provided good, adequate nursing & pulmonary care training. As a side note, bedsores are common on long-term patients confined to bed and/or chairs, but after being there about 3 months, my husband never had even one bedsore. I attribute this to the inflate/deflate mattresses they use as well as the attention to cleanliness of the patient.”
