God's Choice on Mondays is absolutely wonderful. Pastor Tim is a kind, compassionate & fun minister. The volunteers are generous with their time & talents. Extremely supportive.

We have lived in several places and attended dozens of churches....always in search of that uplifting feeling we had at our original church back in 2001. This Fall, after a long distance move, we decided to try FMCOG. As soon as we walked in the door, we felt a great sense of family, immediately being welcomed by several people. It's a small congregation, but they always seem ready to accept new members into their "family". The amount of ministries and "good works" that come from this congregation is inspiring. Our family feels blessed to have a found such a great place to worship. If you are looking, stop by....I know you will be impressed as well!

I've been a member of FMCOG for 20 years now. Four pastors, lots of changes, but no question at all that God is steady at work here -- just have to be listening and looking to see what He's doing, and be ready to join that work. (It beats making up our own ideas and telling God to get behind them!) We have a solid ministry called God's Choice, a weekly church service plus a meal for people with special needs. We've started "Service Sundays" where three or four times a year the whole congregation pitches in to do something major in the community -- first one was making a meal for 50+ people to be served at End Hunger Cafe in Latrobe (we combined that with home visits and meals for our seniors). There are plenty of bigger and better-funded churches to be found, sure. And I'll admit, there was a time back in the early 2000's when I felt ready to quit. But I've learned a lot more and grown a lot more by sitting tight right here.
