  Pastor Starr has passion. People are the best. Great soul medicine. I was in a dark troubled place the day Pastor Tom knocked on my door. I found hope and my son was saved that day. I was invited to the church. God's work is being done through this church.

  There's alot to say. They are an independent Baptist. Sitting on top of a hill in Brogue Pa. This Church is a KJV Bible believing Bible teaching Church. Love abounds in this Church. First for God the Father Jesus Christ the son and for each other. There is a school K-12 also. Plenty of activities. Trips for all ages. Young or older there's plenty of old time music. A fantastic chorus. Oh an did i mention that they have a great pastor.
  Pastor Chris Starr is a no non-sense, tell it as God's word shows it. Spirit fill Pastor. Over 300 in attendance on any giving Sunday. Also an aspiring up an coming Pastor in training , Todd Hendricks. As the the Church also is a Pastoral teaching as well. So now that you know all about them. Come an join us. Its a Sunday you will not forget. Traveling or live here. We will make you feel welcome.

  Great church! Pastor truly cares for his flock and takes his position as a pastor very seriously. He is dedicated to the Lord and His Word. No church is perfect, as they are made up of people, but you can't find many churches that take a stand for truth and standards as does this church. Any person or church that stands for truth will have those who hate and throw accusations at it. The Devil uses people to try to tear down His work. Don't buy in to these lies! :)
  
  Side note: personal and family problems should be kept just that...personal and in the family. It should not be spread around and made public. This only shows lack of maturity and spirituality. No where in Scripture will you find anything to justify this behavior. Anyone reading the reviews should remember to experience things yourself, not listen to hearsay.
  
  Come on out to the church and visit! You will be glad you did :)

  I have had the opportunity to get to know many of the people from this church, and they are always a HUGE blessing to me! I got to actually visit the church for the first time this summer, and I loved it! The congregation is super friendly, Pastor Chris Starr and his wife are lovely and caring people. The music is Christ-centered and wonderful to listen to. The preaching is challenging and encouraging. I look forward to my next visit at Mt. Zion!
