  I have a difficult dog who hates the vet. They keep taking care of his needs even though he always makes it hard on them. The dog may hate them , but I love them. Dr. Mike takes care of our boy the most. He and the staff are kind and caring and keep fighting the good fight with our very challenging pet ( for almost 10 years now).

  Our feline house mate was having some issues that we didnt know about and decided to call Dover animal hospital cause he was clearly in pain. They did not hesitate about seeing him the same day. They were understanding in many ways and would highly recommend anyone to trust them to care for there pet.

  Everyone on the staff is always very friendly and helpful. They treat each pet like their own. Both of my dogs go here for regular care and I couldn't be happier.

  A friend recommended Dover Area Animal Hospital to me 15 years ago and I've been happily using their services for my 2 dogs ever since. The various doctor's and staff have always been sweet to my dogs, and helpful and friendly to me. They will take time to hear your concerns and explain things to you. They mail reminder cards for vaccinations which is extremely helpful. They are full service and have the ability to do most tests in house while you wait and also carry prescription medication so you never have to wait for mail order. They've been able to see my dogs immediately for a few emergencies over the years and within hours for less serious immediate needs. They've also taken good care of my dogs when they had to spend the night for observation or to have surgery. You and your pet will be happy here! I highly recommend Dover Area Animal Hospital!
