A nice trail to take a hike on. Old abandoned road and union cemetery off trail too! Mostly runs along the water and about an hour long loop.

What an absolutely beautiful Trail! I loved everything about it it was very lightly trafficked and I only saw one other person while I was on my hike on a Saturday morning. There was probably four or five mud pits that were very long and there was not many options to get around, that was not the worst part for me though I did not like that the end of the trail is on 216. It is a very busy highway the cars are going past you at 50 miles per hour and you have to walk across a bridge that has a foot wide sidewalk to get back to the parking lot. The people in the town are obviously courteous and slow down if they see someone but it is still very scary and I don't think I will be taking my kids on this one! Overall very beautiful hike though????

Great trail. Did this with my 6 years old. Be sure to check out the cemetery. One of the headstones in the center is from a John Myers who was killed in the battle defending Baltimore from the British in 1814 (war of 1812). Little over 1.5 miles but easy to do in sneakers if it hasn't rain really recent.
