  Awesome experience today and am glad I found a close to home dentist. Very nice and clean environment. Very positive and friendly staff from reception to the dentist and everyone in between. I came in for a dentist visit after not being to the dentist for a while and they were absolutely no judgment. They took X-rays, checked my teeth and gums, and even squeezed me in for a cleaning when they had a last minute cancellation. Will be going here for years to come!

  Awesome experience! I recently moved to the area and was nervous about picking the wrong dental practice. However Dr. Kaplan and the staff at Above & Beyond were very knowledgeable and excellent at conveying their recommendations and answering any of my questions.

  I’ve been going to this office since I was a little girl. Stephanie has been my hygienist for many many years (roughly 25 years) I trust her and her opinion. I would highly recommend this practice ???????? I make the drive from Monkton MD because it is worth it.

  Dr. Cha and the staff at Merit Dental are kind, compassionate and understanding people. They have been great with our family. I have seen and experienced first hand how they adapt to the needs of the elderly (my mom was 90) and people with brain injuries (my husband has cognitive problems due to an illness). Not everyone in the medical field gives people with special needs the time and care they require but Merit Dental definitely did and continues to do so. It was deeply touched that they sent a sympathy card to me when my mom died this past Christmas.

You need to be driven home by a friend or family member because of the anesthesia. You can expect for the extraction site to bleed for a little while after the surgery. Gauze will be applied at the completion of the surgery, and you will need to change it when it becomes soaked.
