My dog needs help. Hi everybody. I am not used to asking strangers for financial help. So this is all kind of new to me. But the thing is I have been unemployed for the past four months now and I have kind of been struggling financially ever since.
You should ask about a diet trial. Some dogs get ear infections or itchy ears due to an underlying food allergy. It can take up to 12 weeks, but I would find a vet that is willing to repeat ear cytology (check for bacteria, yeast, parasites) and then talk to you about a diet trial.
When my mom was small, before antibiotics, her parents warmed olive oil to put in her ear to relieve the pain of an infection. Take the dog to an emergency clinic instead of waiting so he isn't suffering all night. While olive oil might be some sort of human "remedy," it's not gonna help with a dog.
