“I found Modern Transmission through a referral from a local shop where I live, they do not do drive line work. I needed a center support shaft bearing on my Tacoma. Previously, I had been waiting for over 3 months with a Toyota dealership who said that they were waiting for the part, some sort of national shortage on parts. Well, that doesn't make the issue go on hold, it just got progressively worse. I spoke with John, told him about my situation and what needed to be repaired, along with a new universal joint. Made an appointment so they could assess the problem. John told me approximately how much it would be and that it could be done in one day. It was done in one day and cost about what he said which was very reasonable considering what the Toyota Dealership was going to charge. I had this work done towards the end of February. They were very professional and polite, did exactly what they said and there were no surprises, which is rare these days when it comes to the auto industry. I highly recommend Modern Transmission and if I ever have any other drive line issues, that's where I am going.”

“The Line-x looks great, I really like how it looks over the factory ones I’ve seen. I asked if they would be plugging factory holes and told yes. They did not and Ive cross threaded one of the factory holes trying to Install accessories. Going to need to buy a tap and die set. It was done super fast while I waited and only took 2 hours, I would just recommend you triple check and ask to talk to the installer about making sure your holes are plugged. I did call to follow up and they were super cool about it offered to help get the Tonneau on, that wasn’t so bad but my swing case was. There was some dust in the cab but it wiped right off. Overall I’m still really happy with how great it looks.”

“Solid auto shop. Took a chance here because I purchased my own brake pads and rotors and wanted a place willing to install them. P&W Auto did it quickly and properly for a very fair price. Along with that, it turned out that I had the wrong rotors, and the lady at the desk was able to order the proper rotors and have them delivered in about 10 minutes. The price was nice on those as well. I paid $100 for the pads through RockAuto and $500 for the rotors through P&W, and the installation of everything. That completely dunks on the price I would’ve had to pay to the local Monro and NTB (which they quoted between $800-$1000.) I arrived there at 8, and even with my screw up with the wrong rotors, I still left the shop with my car done probably around 10 or 10:30. Absolutely insane. 5/5, and I will easily be contacting them again if another issue arises with my car. Edit: Turns out the brake pads I bought were wrong somehow because they got shredded within a few months. Returned here to have them looked at and these guys got me new pads and had the rotors replaced through warranty without an issue. I can’t stress enough how awesome these guys are, seriously. 10/10.”
