After calling several stores, PBK at KOP had one left and Michelle was nice enough to hold it for us. I felt that I was treated with respect, which when you're a lone woman going to a mechanic is never a guarantee. They didn't push me to get more repairs than I can afford at the moment, though they were straightforward about the potential consequences of forgoing recommended repairs. I think I'm going to try to trade my car in for something easier/cheaper to maintain, so I didn't end up giving them much business this time around, but I plan to do so in the future. It's nice to see a business investing in their customers instead of trying to wring them dry the minute they walk through the door.”
