“I first visited World Market in DC. Really like shopping there. Happy to find this local version that has most of the same items with the exception that the D.C. Store has an extensive wine and beer selection. This store has a nice selection of China and glass and also an area with gourmet food selections that are difficult to find elsewhere. For example chocolate covered marzipan which I really like. Thy also have olive oils and vinegars at reasonable prices. Cookies and jelly from all over the world will tempt you. This store also sells furniture and rugs also reasonably priced. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. Finally, I scored some excellent delicious chocolate covered pecans that were on deep discount for .30 a bag. Can not go wrong there. Will be back for sure.”

“DanKen has remodeled two bathrooms for us. Dan K. walked us through the estimate and helped us choose tile, cabinetry, fixtures, etc. He was extremely helpful since doing this kind of thing is not our forte. The guys completely gutted the bathrooms (in two different homes) and started over from scratch. In our current home, they moved a wall, altered the large hallway closet by moving the door, added more appropriate shelving, and a wired a light with a switch on the wall. They also added a ceiling vent which is vented to the outside (not the attic). Every day the men cleaned up their tools and neatly stored them in an area that we provided for them. They also cleaned up any debris from the floor (they used runners to help keep everything clean) and gave us an update on what was done that day and what would be happening the next day. They stayed on the estimated schedule. We felt comfortable having the men in our home even if we weren't there. They kept to the budget...there were no hidden costs. I highly recommend DanKen Corp for your next remodeling adventure.”
