“This is the first time we were back to Oori since the pandemic, and it was great to see that the food quality and service had not fallen off, like so many other restaurants. We started with the fried cauliflower, which was spicy and delicious. My wife got the Dan Dan Noodles. She said they were excellent and spicy! They came with a honey butter that could be added to calm the spice down a little. I got the blackened salmon with bok choy, and was very pleased with the dish. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the bok choy was delicious. Our server was friendly and on point with her service. We plan on putting Oori into our regular dining rotation.”

If you're from the Hopewell/Quip area you can go on any given night and there's a good chance you'll see someone you know there. If you're reading this review and you're from out of town looking for somewhere to go I'd highly recommend Kendrews. My family and I have been going to Kendrews for over 2 decades now. My parents used to bring me there on Thursdays for wings when I was a teenager. I'm in my 40's now taking my own kids there. The food is excellent and they're known locally for their wings. They have several different wing flavors, and you can even mix flavors to make your own sauce. The servers are awesome as well. Over the years I've had very few bad experiences there. The bar area is huge with a bunch of pool tables and dart boards, and they have a Touch Tunes jukebox by the back door. There are TV's all over the place so its great place to watch a game. Smoking is permitted in the bar area but they also have a non smoking area for dining. On top of the great food and atmosphere they also have Karaoke on Wednesdays and live bands on the weekends. It's just a laid back bar with people from all walks of life getting along and hanging out. A great place to go for dinner or just to relax and have a few drinks after a long week of work.”

The local person we were working with told us to go by Rea's for a good breakfast before we make the journey home. The food tastes like it came out of my wife's or my mother's kitchen.
