An excellent employee, Nicky, helped me find some great sweater jackets perfect for work-all at sale prices. The black jacket is reversible so One side is a great business look, one side casual. I also picked up an adorable pair of leather boots in a neutral color which will go with everything. I love that they have a good non-slip bottom as sidewalks and walkways in terminals can be slippery. Definitely a store to visit if you have time to kill at the Pittsburgh Airport!”

“I have been diving around the world since the early 90's and have met a lot of people, dive masters, instructors, owners, students, in my travels. I would rate Bill and Jeanne on the top of the list as having excellent work ethic, concern for their students comfort, integrity, concern for their students finances, and overall concern that the student walks away with the proper training to be at the skill level and knowledge level that they need to be at to enjoy the sport of scuba diving at the level that the student, dive master or instructor has reached. Bill and Jeanne have analyzed the sport and developed very good tactics for instruction. Their years of diving and teaching have given them a unique perspective into the world of diving that few people will be able to give you at this time in the diving community. My view on Bill's supposed suggestions for equipment is the following: I have been the student who was pinching pennies and unable to purchase the gadgets that were not immediately necessary and have since graduated to being someone who needs to wisely plan my purchases. What I can tell you is that Bill is simply excited about the sport, in fact loves it, he knows about the equipment, how it works and how all of the equipment fits together and the proper way to use it. I am thankful for this knowledge as it gives me the opportunity to know about what is out there and how to properly use these tools and to make and educated decision for myself whether I need a tool or not. Bill is always willing to dig through his equipment to help you properly attach your regulator etc. and is also willing to hear no I cannot afford this at this time. Why is it necessary to know about these options? Because then you know what is out there. And you can have educated discussions with others with the passion about the Sport of Scuba Diving. My recommendation is that Downey Diving is an excellent dive shop. And when I started with this shop I was very nervous because I didn't know anyone at this shop and I can tell you that every one of the instructors, dive masters and owners were professional and kind and I am grateful for their assistance and suggestions.”

“Clean convenience store well stocked with a lot of different items. They sell lots of great coffee! It is very busy during the middle of the day. They keep it neat and orderly. Note that there isn't a public restroom., and none nearby. It is the only decent gas station near Apollo. Parking is really tight. It sits on a busy intersection and caution is needed to maneuver in and out. I'd like to see the owners completely refurbish this facility.”

“2022: Good customer service. Maintenance performed as I requested, and I appreciate the mechanic's video walk-through. 2021: My experience went as follows: I had a service appointment scheduled early in the morning for preventive maintenance. As I drove along Kramer Street approaching the dealership, I was greeted by a BMW service technician. He directed me where to park (to the main lot in the front). After I parked, I walked through the northernmost entrance (closest to Kramer and Broad St) because the main showroom doors were locked at that time, early in the morning. The staff was polite and held the door for me. I signed in and the employee offered me coffee. After they set up the paperwork and signed out a loaner car for me, they also answered additional technical questions I had about my car. The administrative staff wrote my questions on the service sheet for the technicians to answer. A few hours later, I received a follow-up telephone call to assist me with my further questions. I was pleased they followed-up by telephone to answer questions beyond the scheduled maintenance of my appointment. The questions were also answered in writing, typed-up on the service sheet/receipt. When I returned to pick up my car, I went to the parts counter to purchase some items specific to my car. Press the doorbell button to get the attention of the parts personnel because they are working behind the door. I had a good experience, so I plan to return for additional maintenance when due.”
