We enjoyed every bit of the trip and had quality time as a family while working out some muscles. Middle Yough is an easy section of the river, if beginners like us can do it, you can do it. Parts of the river were shallow that older kids can stand in, other parts are deeper but definitely less than 6 feet (my estimate). The main store has items with reasonable prices that are handy for a day at the river.”
