“After moving to Greensburg from California, I had no veterinarian. When my Malaute mix, which was 14 years old, suddenly was unable to walk and became really sick. Several veterinarian turned me away, saying that since I wasn't a client, they could not see me for weeks. He was an emergency case and needed to see a veterinarian. Dr. Mike and the staff brought us in immediately. It happened that my dog had cancer, and they gave me all my options. I decided to put him down. It was the hardest but most kind thing to do for my loved animal. These people were strangers but were kind to me and my dog. I now have a new puppy I take to them. Who they treat with the best care and the same kindness.”

“La Gourmandine is a local French bakery chain, and it is definitely one of the best in the area. My husband and I have really enjoyed every tart and croissant that we have bought from them. They also sell sandwiches, quiches, cakes, and breads, which I might someday try. I think that the prices are very reasonable for the high quality. The employees have promptly and politely greeted me, carefully packaged my foods, accurately processed my payment, and thanked me and wished me a great day. The only negative about this business is the location in an area that has street parking and lots of traffic.”

“Dr. Tingan is a great eye doctor. I've seen him both for routine eye exams and whenever I started developing unusual floaters and flashes. He is super thorough and ultimately explained that I was getting migraines (with aura). Unfortunately, one member of his staff is particularly grumpy and got upset whenever she fitted me with the wrong contact even after I explained that I needed daily single-use contacts. I've always felt confident in the care that I received directly from Dr. Tingan, but his staff was rough around the edges.”

“I just came to say that my great grandfather David Baker built this in 1950 originally. When you'd drive up it would ding, and he'd go out and pump the gas. My uncle called it Dave's Super Service. They had old fashioned candy cases and soda coolers. They sold hunting and fishing licenses and ammo because he was a hunter. Hand written price tags with a marker and an old fashioned cash register. The home was on the top level, but there was another area behind the store on the bottom level with a kitchen and living room where we used to sit and have family meals during working hours. I loved riding tractor when he'd cut the grass, before they built over it. We used to catch lightening bugs out there in the yard. He had a lovely walnut tree and a small garden out back. I was born in 72, and the station was sold in the late 80's when my great grandparents were too old to take care of it anymore. I wished those who bought it had left some of the original charms but make it nice and nostalgic instead of making i it look just like every other generic gas station out there. Lots of childhood memories here that nobody has but me and my family. I still remember the smell. I miss it so much. Best of luck to the owners.”

From the minute I inquired, Lisa & Jamie were responsive & informative answering all my questions and working with my ever changing back to work timing. Ann Marie, who leads the infant room, is the absolute BEST! She made me feel so good about leaving my 6 month old. She was kind, nurturing, communicative and taught my son so much. All of the assistance are great, the price is reasonable and they are always there with my many questions. My son learns so much everyday and is so happy to go to daycare!”
