The gentleman who works there is one of the most honest, respectful, mechanics I've run into in awhile. And he is reasonably priced. I recommend this place whole heartedly.

(September 14, 2018, 8:58 am)My mother was nice enough to take my car in to have it seviced. Since it was on her dime, I didn't argue when she told me she wanted to take the car to Shaw's in Johnston and I'm on the east side of Prov.
Since it was her dime, no arguement from me. I knew I needed a cv joint due to the clicking when taking a corner, come to find out I needed a complete new front axl. That was done.
After driving off there was a knock when I broke and advanced. So, I called immediately and the mechanic immediately came for a test drive.
THIS MAN WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. NOW MY CAR SOUNDS LIKE I DROVE IT OFF THE LOT IN 2010.
IF YOU ARE A WOMAN AND FEEL HESITANT TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO A KNEW MECHANIC, YOU WILL NOT BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF HERE!
I NEVER GAVE A REVIEW BEFORE BUT THIS TIME I FELT LIKE I HAD TOO. THANKS SHAW'S!

I always recommended Shaw's Garage to anyone asking for place to take their car for repair/inspection. Jimmy, Deb and now their son, Michael, make a great team!

(January 7, 2017, 9:24 am)Awesome as always. Had an appointment scheduled for Thursday, but because of circumstances beyond our control, I had to drop car off on Wednesday. I explained that we were willing to wait until Thursday for it to be fixed, but a few hours later, got a call that the car was all set. They are quick, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and their prices are very reasonable. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
