  I had a great time selling some unwanted gold jewelry. I found everyone kind and through. I also went in with a strong concept of about how much my jewelry might be worth ( looked up the value and checked with how much for resale/melt the products would be worth) and they exceeded my estimate. The shop is lovely and I am looking forward to someday coming back to have some jewelry adjusted and maybe a purchase.

  My husband lost his ring and we were looking to replace it in a hurry. They were able to find the exact match and have it to us in one day! They were so nice and I cant thank them enough. I highly recommend them.

  Several years ago I had some coins and jewelry that I wanted to learn more about and possibly sell. I had tried a larger R.I. company but the process was confusing. A family friend recommended New England Gold & Silver and I’ll never go anywhere else.
  
  First, the coins. Brian took the time to look at what I had and determine if their value was higher as a coin or gold. He knew I would be better served at a specialty coin shop and he was right. But he could have easily told me otherwise and bought my coins. I probably never would have known. I found that remarkable and appreciated his honesty.
  
  I’ve been back a few times in the past 5 or so years with jewelry. I’ve gotten to know Laurel and Brian a little more each time. They make me feel like an old friend and easily recall past conversations. They take their time examining the pieces and often make me feel like I’m the only customer. They are friendly and they clearly enjoy their work. I always leave feeling like I’ve received great customer service and fair and generous prices for my jewelry.
  
  I also feel like I learn a lot about my pieces and the market every time I’ve gone in there. It’s so nice to go somewhere that still offers true old fashioned customer service. (They will even come to your home if you need that level of service! ).
  
  On top of this they have a beautiful selection of fine jewelry, watches and more. I’m temped every time. You can’t go wrong here!

  After reading plenty of online reviews for the best place to sell jewelry, I was fortunate to find New England Gold & Silver. Brian (owner) and his assistant Laurel are simply amazing, helpful and make you feel welcome. Brian took his time to look and assess each piece of jewelry I had brought to the store, and he gave me the best price of any of the jewelry stores I had gone to.
  
  If you have jewelry to sell this is the best place to go. You’ll probably still want to get a second quote, but honesty, there’s really no need to.
  
  While I was there, I decided to have a ring resized and I wanted 2 small diamonds added to the ring. Brian did not try to sell me the most expensive diamonds, etc. He explained to me that given the size of the ring and insert for the diamonds, he recommended diamonds that would still sparkle but didn’t have to be the most expensive. Did you know that some diamonds are fluorescent and that’s why they have that fake sparkle? Brian can show you under a blue light that the diamonds he sells are not fluorescent.
  
  They specialize in wedding rings and bands. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for wedding rings to add New England Gold and Silver to their list of jewelry stores, and go see Brian before making a purchase.
