(June 19, 2022, 12:31 pm)I have been a donor for seven years at the blood center. I love donating blood and platelets every other month. The check in and out is simple.
I have met Kerry, Mary, Emily and their newest nurses Kyle and Sarya. They are wonderful and helpful. They always welcome everyone kindly and make sure you are comfortable. If the television is on or they have music or the nurse is nearby you can chat with them.
In the recent couple of years the donor volunteers has declined, my friend Joanne and I have signed up to volunteer to help out every other month or every couple of weeks. The nurses are great to work with and they teach you interesting facts.
Overall, wonderful place and fantastic nurses. I highly recommend anyone to sign up. 💝 🏥

For example men who donate blood regularly have been shown to be less likely to have a heart attack or a stroke as they age. I always have a great experience here, everyone is professional and friendly. What are you waiting for?
(May 30, 2019, 9:15 am)I love this place. Yes, I know it's weird to love a blood center, but I genuinely do. My girlfriend and I are both O-, and have donated quite a bit here; she donating whole blood and I donating double red.
I'm nearing three gallons, but on my last visit, I fainted for the first time ever. I'm still a bit puzzled as to why. Luckily, Lubov and Kerry Beth were there to help me out and stayed by my side until I was feeling better.
Donating blood is important to me on a personal level. RIBC is a wonderful place with a wonderful staff. Freddy, Brenda, Amanda, Melissa, Emma, and the whole team make donating a breeze and make you feel right at home.
They say the post-donation cookies are the motivator for many. But for me, it's the wonderful staff. Thank you for all that you do and I eagerly look forward to my next donation!
