  Bright Start Academy has been a wonderful place for our children who are 7 and 5. Our children have attended for their preschool years and also the summer camps over the last 4 years. During this time our children have had an amazing experience. The teachers/owner are truly wonderful caring people who treated our children as if they were their own. During the school year the children attended numerous field trips outside the school, enjoyed multiple monthly in classroom enrichment programs and loved participating in the monthly learning themes. BSA also fosters parent/family involvement in the classroom, on field trips and with multiple family nights such as the Halloween party and Art show. Our children learned about compassion, empathy and the importance of community through BSA hosted fundraisers for community members in need and with major charities such as St. Judes. And WOW the end of the year box that comes home with art projects, pictures and papers showing your childs learning milestones is priceless!! Not to mention the pre-K graduation- such a special event and lasting memory for our family! We can’t say enough positive things about this school!!

  I am a father of 2 children, a 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son. Both attended Bright Start at the ages of 3, 4, and 5. I can't say enough good things about Bright Start Academy. Ms. Kerri combines education with active play and outdoor time better than any other pre-k schools we visited in RI (and we visited a lot!). The school is clean, perfectly designed to keep the kids engaged and learning and is consistently evolving to keep the kids interested. My son entered Kindergarten extremely prepared and ahead of the curve thanks to Bright Start Academy. I would recommend BSA to anyone! The only challenge is how much my kids miss it when they leave!

  My son and daughter both attended BSA and I couldn't ask for a better preschool for my children. My children were always eager to go to school and were greeted each morning with a warm and welcome smile from their teachers and then come home excited to share what new things they were learning about. Bright Start Academy is also family oriented and provided many opportunities for us to be a part of our children's preschool experience. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a great preschool for their children.

  I would give this school 10 stars if I could! My five year old son has attended BSA for the past three years, the teachers are very supportive and caring, and the atmosphere is so welcoming! My oldest son, who is nine, has attended their summer program the last two years and can't wait to return this summer. My youngest guy will be starting in September, I wouldn't consider sending him anywhere else! As an educator I have worked with many other schools and programs throughout RI and I worry about curriculum, staff turnover, structure of programing, consistency of the staff, and most of all the happiness of the children. All of these exceed my expectations!! I'm so thankful for all of the staff there! I recommend this program to anyone looking for a preschool for their kiddos!

  Great place for preschoolers! The teachers are warm and friendly. The kids learn alot and they have lots of family activities. A very family friendly environment!
