Two years ago, I went to another dermatologist about a sore on my face that wouldn't heal. She said she didn't think it was anything but that we could schedule a biopsy for another visit. Being a single, overwhelmed, working mother of three; I put it on the back burner for about a year and a half, until my family started nagging me because they felt the spot was getting larger. I called this office since it was close to my home and by chance ended up with Dr. Boswell. As soon as she got a good look at the spot, she believed it was basil cell carcinoma and proceeded to take the biopsy right there... which came back as basil cell carcinoma.
Since then, I have had the surgery to have it removed and am continuing to go to the plastic surgeon to work on fading and thinning the scar. I feel that if I had gone to Dr. Boswell two years ago, my scar would be a fraction of what it is now. Although it hasn't been a pleasant experience overall, given the situation, I am very happy with Dr. Boswell's knowledge and prompt action. In a time that we seem to be a number when we have medical needs, I was relieved to have stumbled upon this doctor.
