(January 12, 2020, 10:25 pm)Really cool place for a camp out with cub scouts. They learnt a lot on info and loved getting to see all the stars as they listened about them. (They were not a fan of the Coyotes howling all night lol) had a great time. Will definitely go back.

A huge thank you to Tom who invited us to join him and showed us several amazing stars and star clusters! It was amazing to not only enjoy the starts but also to learn more about them while we are there. I am honestly considering a membership of the CAAC soon! Thank you for making me feel welcome! I will be back this year!

(October 8, 2018, 12:06 am)I remember the day we followed Gayle from his home to the observatory with the 24" in tow. What a day! And first light was amazing. Gayle helped me build my first scope and more importantly, he helped build my love for looking at the heavens. Thank you Gayle. I'm forever grateful. The best I could ever hope to accomplish is to pass that same passion you and the CAAC gave me along to my son. At 8 years old, he knows more about astronomy than most adults ever will (and he's still learning). Thanks again my friend...
