I went here for the very first time yesterday. I met with the physicians assistant. She listened to me tell her my complaints and issues. She talked to me and told me what she needed to do. Of course they need to a colonoscopy, and she gave me samples of enzymes to take to help me right now. I was very pleased with my Initial visit with them. I would have loved to have met the doctors, but didn't get to do so. So far so good.
Well, I’ll be visiting this office this morning, I put 5 stars because this appointment was made yesterday at 4:30pm and the doctor was willing to see me today. I will post my experience after my visit. Hopefully everything will be fine!
The medical field is changing, all doctors offices have nurse practitioners working in the office so more ppl can be seen. As far as setting up an appointment I guess it's like everything else in life and it comes down to timing. My Dr sent a referral and I was seen in a couple days. What most ppl don't understand is that with GI issues you can't tell what's going on with out seeing inside the GI track or w/o imaging and that's why usually your 1st visit will be short and you will have to be set up for a procedure.
