  I've been doing CrossFit here for 16 months. The coaches and athletes are great to work with, very supportive and friendly.

  I travel heavily and drop into 20-40 boxes per year, most are pretty good, very few great. Lake Wylie is clean and well equipped which is good but you join a box for coaching. The coaches were engaged, knowledgeable and I learned some things. I would join this box if I lived in the area. Thanks for a great experience.

  I have all great things to say about Crossfit Lake Wylie. I started in June and was out of shape at the time. They put you to work quickly, but they do so in a way that your body can handle the work load. There is a lot of 1 on 1 instruction with the coaches to make sure you are operating the movements safely. The classes have a positive & encouraging atmosphere, you're around people who strive to better themselves everyday.

  I have never considered myself a fit person. Couldn't do a push up, couldn't really lift anything, and frankly, CrossFit intimidated the life out of me. I would watch these workout videos from different boxes online, and I would have NEVER, EVER, thought that I could even survive 5 minutes in there. Where do you start right? But then CFLKW had this awesome 6 week challenge (which they are running again), during which you would get a chance to learn CrossFit, learn proper nutrition, and slowly build up to a better, stronger, leaner, meaner you!
  
  I jumped on that faster than anything. I was scared! After the first session with my new coach, I knew I was in good hands. And that's the deal here. The trainers are amazing! They will scale the workouts based on what you can and can't do, while pushing just enough to help you evolve. The people here are supportive, encouraging, and you will find a crew you want to run with, a crew you are going to miss like crazy, when you don't make it to the gym. If you've tried it all, and all has failed, give this a shot. Give it 3 weeks first. Then give it 6 weeks. Then enjoy the addiction!

  So glad that CrossFit Lake Wylie is right around the corner from me! The coaches are knowledgeable and motivating, and the members are super supportive. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun! If you are on the fence about trying CrossFit, don't waste another day! What you'll find is a fun and challenging way to get and stay fit! Check it out!!!
