I was a student of Danny’s for about six years and my playing improved greatly over that time. He’s extremely knowledgeable and encouraging, as well as patient and willing to work with the pace of his students. Great teacher and a great guy.
I have been taking lessons with Danny for over 10 years, starting at the age of 12. To say that learning guitar from him changed my life is an understatement. You learn a wide range of styles and techniques, something many guitar teachers may not provide. Danny gives you the tools and support to not just learn songs but to learn music. I recommend him to everyone I know that wants guitar/bass/banjo lessons.
I am a long-time student of Danny’s. He is the complete package because he is a master guitarist who really knows how to teach. Danny expects your best and pushes you to continually improve. I have been taking guitar lessons from Danny for about 1½ years. He knows how to make me work hard but still is very kind when I do not get something or I need more help.
I took lessons from Mr. Brewer for over 5 years and absolutely loved it! Danny was always willing to look at/listen to songs I wanted to learn and always encouraged me to try, no matter how complex the songs were. He offered me a perfect balance of his lesson plan and songs I was really eager to learn. I highly recommend him!
Trying to say all the good things about Danny Brewer in only a few sentences...is not possible. Danny is a wonderful teacher and a good friend. I've been studying with Danny for more than four years and during that time I've learned more about guitar and music than I thought possible. We started slow, with some simple songs and exercises, but now he has me doing more than I ever thought I could do. I look back on the time we've spent together and I'm really thrilled with what I've been able to learn. The fun part? It's still just a beginning...because Danny continues to challenge me with new techniques and new material. This has been a wonderful adventure for me, learning from a guy who is patient, gentle but always ready to push me into new territory. I am very grateful to Danny for putting up with my questions and my occasional challenges. He's a great teacher and I consider him a good friend. Thanks, Danny. You've made a positive difference in my life and that's about the best thing I can think of to say about anyone!
