Hiring Lori as our midwife was one of the best decisions we made as first time parents. Of course Lori came prepared and brought in all of her necessary midwifery supplies for a healthy and safe home birth. BUT, she brought so much more into our home too—encouragement, confidence, comfort, and steadfastness. I remember feeling an overwhelming sense of peace as soon as she arrived and met me laboring in our bedroom. She empowered me and made me feel safe. Lori is an EXCELLENT midwife with UNMATCHED experience. We are forever grateful to her.

Lori was everything I never knew I wanted in a midwife! We moved down to South Carolina and didn’t expect to grow our family anymore. We found out we were expecting and I immediately thought about my midwife that I used for my middle child and I wanted someone similar- older and a low calming voice. I interviewed midwives in SC to see who fit my criteria. And then I met Lori...young, vibrant, outgoing. Everything I wanted to avoid, right? But her presence was full of love and comfort and she made me feel strong and empowered in a time when I felt scared and vulnerable. I told my husband I had found my midwife and he was confused because she was so opposite from my initial criteria. Once he met her, he immediately understood why I chose her. She was full of knowledge and was always quick to respond when I needed her. Both her and her assistant were spectacular and I couldn’t have dreamt of a better experience. I am so lucky to have found her!

From the moment that I first met Lori, I knew that I wanted her to be my midwife. She was so easy to talk to and so down to earth. Throughout my entire pregnancy, she was there to offer advice, encouragement and at times a shoulder to cry on. When it came time to deliver my baby girl she was there every step of the way. There were many moments when I felt like I couldn't do it anymore, but she was my anchor throughout my entire labor. I am so grateful that I was blessed to meet this sweet soul. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing home birth experience! You won't be disappointed!

My experience with Lori was amazing. She is a very loving, caring, passionate, and knowledgeable midwife. She made me very comfortable with having a home birth. I was able to speak to her about anything and she listened and gave great advice. I would absolutely recommend her to every and anyone looking for a midwife or doula. She rocks and my family and I love her!

I transferred to Lori’s care halfway through my pregnancy, and I am forever grateful that I did! Lori is so much more than an incredible midwife: She is a friend who you can chat for hours with. She is a teacher who educates and empowers you. She is a mother who calms your fears and makes you feel safe. She is a professional who is reliable and extremely knowledgeable. She is just the best! Having her support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum has been a game changer in my journey to becoming a mama. I can’t imagine doing it all without her.
