Waffle House

The food was great. My service was wonderful. Our server Allen had only been working there 3 days and did everything to make our time there wonderful. However, the 2 men he was working with were not so great. They didn't speak or smile the whole time. I got the last piece of chocolate pie and found a toothpick in the bottom. Allen apologized and said I won't put it on the bill. Fantastic who wants to pay for a toothpick pie. As my husband was playing our bill with one of the other guys, he started to scold him for not charging us for the pie, the toothpick pie. I know it had to be embarrassing for Allen, and I was shocked it happened in front of us. I know there was a better option. Counting my family of 4, there were only 6 customers. A quick walk to the back would have been a far better place for that talk. I hope Allen did not pay for that toothpick pie as it was an option that was talked about. It's a new year people do better be kinder.

One cook, one waitress. Service was friendly and fast. Lightning fast. Good food, good prices.

The food was pretty good and the staff was friendly and seemed like they were having fun. The place was super busy as it was Christmas Day and most other places were closed.
The restaurant was pretty clean-way cleaner than some other locations I have been to.
