I'd like to echo what Sharon Hanson wrote last year. Our experience w/ Keven & co is much briefer, but every bit as positive. They are just plain nice, and completely on top of things. They get to you just as quick as they can - if they happen to be in the neighborhood, it can mean within minutes. And they treat you and charge you as if you were family.

Kevin has performed inspections and repairs on roofs of my listings and sales. I would highly recommend them

Keven Smith with C W Smith & Sons Roofing Company can only be described as "Awesome."

After an ice storm in 2015, I requested five quotes. Only four of the five actually showed up, and luckily C W Smith & Sons was one of them. After the other three companies told us we needed a new roof, Keven was determined to find the source of the leak. After trying many different things on many different days over the course of a few weeks, he finally gave us the news that we needed a new roof. He quoted half the price of the highest quote we received, and he credited us for the amount we already paid him to originally find the leak.

The porch ceiling no longer leaks, and I'm confident that the roof was finally installed the right way. All four companies we received quotes from and the contractor who installed our new porch ceiling told us that it looked like the previous owner paid for a low quality install and it showed.The shingles weren't placed the correct distance apart and lots and lots of nails were used...hence, the difficulty in finding the source of the leak. If not for the ice storm, we probably would have had a myriad of slow leaks over a longer period of time. A water test done by our porch ceiling contractor also exposed a leak in our livingroom.

What makes Keven even more awesome, is that months later he drove by and noticed our gutter was hanging down a bit. He stopped, got his ladder out, and fixed it for us free of charge just because he's a nice guy who cares about his customers. We only knew he was out there fixing it because we heard someone working on our roof. He wasn't even going to take credit for fixing it!

Ok. That brings me to present day. We had another roof leak, or so we thought. We were out of town for a week and came home to a bowed wood floor, puffy wall paint, and water in our ceiling fixture. It rained heavily while we were away, so we assumed it was the roof...this time it's at the back half of our house (this half of the roof wasn't replaced by C W Smith & Sons). So, I call Keven. He answers on a Sunday and says he'll try to make it out Monday. It's not raining today...totally clear skies. Later that evening the ceiling starts leaking again. We're completely perplexed...this is the first house we've ever owned. I call Keven back and tell him what's going on. He suggests it's probably an overflowing drip pan under the AC unit upstairs...he was totally right.

So, we now own a shop-vac because it was the best way to remove the water, and it will definitely come in handy in the future, but knowing Keven has proved invaluable. I can't thank him enough.
