  Went in at 4pm. Probably 4 or 5 people waiting before me and 2 lovely staff serving us. I finished my transaction(registration and plates) in less than 15 minutes including waiting time. Fast Service with a big smile. Thank you!

  Considering the health crisis going on, the line and wait was worth it because I needed to get my car registered to get my tags. It was perfect. If you have a problem passing Marta, as long as you have the bill of sale, they'll register the vehicle for you. This is a win-win situation. I think I was in and out within an hour or not much afterwards. If you need tags for your vehicle(s) registered without the hassle of passing Marta, now is the time. I heard sometime in June they were going to stop it and then require you paperwork showing you passed emissions tests. Now you can work on the problem when you can, and have a year to fix it. Other than that, I would wait until things change because I don't like being hurdled like cattle. Tell someone you know that can benefit from this while they're still doing it. I just found out last night (05/26/2020) and took advantage of it today (05/27/2020). I guess you can go to any of the Country Clerks Offices in Davidson County. Hope this helps!
