Southside Grill

We’ve ordered pick up from here several times but finally dined in last night and wow. Food was great. I’m obsessed with the med plate, sometimes I just get that and my husband got the pistachio chicken that was juicy and seasoned well. The goat cheese mashed potatoes??? STOP. They’re SO good!

The food alone earns 5 stars but the staff is absolutely wonderful, sending it over the top. Ashley, the manager, I mistook her for the owner because of how much ownership she took over the restaurant. She was so helpful, no job was too low for her and has a sweet spirit about her. Our waiter was Kristian and he was kind, informative, and attentive. He was bouncing between the bar and serving us because they were so short staffed last night, but you’d never know he was busy.

Anyways we love this place! It’s hard to eat out when you have a little so not sure when we’ll be back in person but for sure will be continuing to pick up from here and come in whenever possible. ♥️

Wonderful dinner this evening. Light and crispy calamari. Scallops were cooked perfectly. The Kobe truffle burger is best burger around here. Friendly and attentive service. We love this spot for a close-by and casual dinner. Consistently great!

Southside Grill is an absolute dinner GEM in Sugar Valley! I’ve never had an item on the menu that I didn’t love! They have an amazing selection of cocktails and pasta dishes. They are also super accommodating to substitutions. Last night I had the sea scallops and it was so good I’ve been dreaming about it all day. So tender and the flavor profile was PERFECT!

Also the crackling fire in the outdoor seating patio was so cozy! Super kind servers as well. 10/10

My fiancé and I have been coming here for years and we’ve never had an experience that was anything less than perfect. The food is always delicious and the staff is wonderful. Every person there is kind and attentive! Hailey is awesome! She always greets us when a smile and warm welcome! The atmosphere is also great, it’s the perfect combination of casual and fine dining! Needless to say, I highly recommend Southside Grill! They always have whatever it is you are in the mood for!

I had my birthday dinner here, and the food that everyone ordered was phenomenal!! Whoever they’ve got in the kitchen knows what they’re doing. We also tried the Southside Cooler (alcoholic) and it was so delicious several of us at the table decided to order it after the first! The atmosphere is very nice, and all of the staff is very welcoming and courteous. It was an amazing experience, we will be returning!! Thank you! 😊
