Garner St Park

A lovely part of the Greenway that blends the natural and the historic. Discover part of old Springfield on a beautifully maintained paved path with lots of access to the river for fishing or for the kids and dog to play.

Fun little playground for the kids, reminds me of the playgrounds we use to play on! Bathrooms are typically dirty, which is eh.
Dog park is nice, and it's a big win that the Greenway is located right there.

The grandkids had loads of old fashioned fun. They climbed, played on swings
and played kick ball. The heated bathroom were very clean

Great little park with old style wooden playground. The good kind. Well maintained, with baby and big kid swings including a tire swing. A nice sized, but not too busy dog park is present, along with tennis courts. There's also a paved Greenway that goes all the way from this park, about three miles along the river to Travis Park. It's perfect for littles with bikes or scooters! Great park for pets, too. My lab loves running the Greenway with my littles on bikes. There are also restroom facilities (that are currently open and not closed life most due to covid... 🙄) And tell pavilions with tables right by the playground.

Overall, great park. Very safe, clean and fun!
