(October 25, 2022, 9:43 pm)You wouldnt' guess that a Texan would be a huge fan of Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, but I certainly have become one. Helen's has one of my favorites. It is always well cooked, crunchy, and the hot option on their sauce has a good kick. I'm not averse to spicy food, but I'm not sure I would be up for hella hot given the level of kick hot has.
(October 16, 2022, 10:42 am)Immediately when I walked in, Josh had greeted me and had such a great energy and helpful customer service. The food and service were great! By far some of the best chicken in town. Come check this place out!
(August 17, 2022, 5:30 pm)No gimmick, just pure taste! The first bite of their fried chicken was an explosion of flavors in your mouth. It was perfectly cook from inside out. Meat was tender juicy and the skin is crispy. The people are great, outstanding customer service. Thank you, Grandma Helen for these recipes!
(July 23, 2022, 4:48 pm)I ate here for the first time and the food was amazing! I took the Manager's advice and got both the mild chicken wing combo and a side of catfish-lemon pepper hot. Both were cooked to order and so good! The mild is perfect and the hot lemon pepper is good but also really spicy so beware. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town or you can just bring a location to Chattanooga, TN ☺️
(August 20, 2021, 3:59 pm)We stopped in get some Hot Chicken from Helen's. Staff was friendly as they believe they have the best hot chicken around. You can get you chicken hot or really hot or even plain (no hot). We are not from TN so we went with mild hot, The food was good bread come with chicken but the bread is also hot.
