Put both my kids through there. Great stuff, Mrs Jocelyn was outstanding. Preschools go through a lot of teachers but we never had a bad one. Our kids loved all their teachers.
I highly recommend Salem Academy. My family and I have used this center since they opened their doors 12 years ago. I’ve always been able to leave my child and go to work with peace of mind that my child’s needs will be met and he will be happy when I pick him up in the afternoon. As a new mother, there were so many questions I had about what to do for my child with every new stage and the teachers always helped me figure it out. It really does take a village. I’m glad that the staff at Salem Academy and Mrs Jocelyn the owner are part of my village.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Salem Academy. Ms. Jocelyn has an excellent program. We have always had positive experiences with the teachers and Ms. Jocelyn. Salem Academy offers so many fun activities for the children daily. It is nice to know that your child is learning and having fun during the day. My child loves it there. I would highly recommend this childcare center to anyone.
Our family has been there for 7 years and have had a good experience. Director Jocelyn Hodge is open to parental communication and genuinely cares for the children and their families. Recent media coverage of a less than desirable occurrence, also public record, has been a speed bump for this school but I feel confident the issues will be addressed, resolved, and current and future families can enjoy the care we have had with our time at Salem Academy.
Two of my children have attended Salem Academy for a total of 5 years. We have been so blessed by this place. They have been well taken care of and have thrived emotionally and educationally because of the teachers at Salem. I'm always amazed by the creative hands on experiences they provide. The building is super clean, and I have always felt like my children are safe while I'm at work. Communication with parents has always been great as well. I would recommend Salem to anyone!
