Dr. Abbey has treated both thumbs for osteoarthritis for several years. He did surgery on my right thumb in January of 2018. He is a very competent surgeon and showed empathy for what I went through. At first meeting him I thought his mannerisms were a bit abrupt. I have since learned that he is very precise and particular but then a good surgeon has to be exact. I am seeing him again this week to schedule the same surgery on my left thumb.
